Outreach Coordination

Outreach Coordination staff members work to make researchers’ highly technical scientific information available and understandable to the public, classroom educators, civic organizations, and the news media.

The Outreach Coordination office (OC) is FWRI’s link to the public. OC staff are responsible for developing outreach programs and publications and taking them to civic organizations, classrooms, and appropriate public venues. Making the latest FWRI research available to the public in user-friendly formats is OC’s top priority. By making this information available, FWRI hopes to promote responsible use and preservation of Florida’s fish and wildlife resources.
